Zelda (Tarheel Harlequin)

Our newest pack member from the lovely Tarheel pack. It was great finally meeting Tarheel and their wonderful dogs.

She is a sweet and affectionate little girl, a perfect fit for our family. We found out during our road-trip home that she loves classic rock, and even "Zelda's Lullaby" from the video game 'Legend of Zelda'. She is already learning her name and 'sit', loves to chew everything, and so far only having one accident a day. Ulric adores her and loves trying to get her to play with him, Rukia tolerates being chewed on and shows her how to play rough.

She's lovely! You're kicking my puppy fever into high gear. Here's hoping to hear whether Leilah from Sierra Tamaskan has got puppies on the way for us soon. Can I live vicariously through you for now?! Just so stinking adorable.

Feels like she is growing too fast, I'm not getting as many photos as I want because over the past few weeks I have been sick and then had problems with my back. She is a cheeky little girl, not going after socks as much now after we covered one in cayenne pepper (damped the sock with water first so she would not sniff up the pepper), still loves chewing things, play bites still but I'll tell her 'ah ah! kisses..." then she usually starts to lick and then will lick my face. She sleeps in bed with us now, only in the crate when we are not home. It is going to be fun when she is bigger

Most times I will pull her up onto the bed next to me and she almost always falls asleep instantly, it is so cute.
Ulric, still adores her, he loves to snuggle with her or at least be near her.

Yes, Ulric and Tarheel's Blaze had the same sire (Moonstone Make Me Pure @ Alba - Odin), their dams (Lycan and Xena both at Alba) were full sisters which makes Ulric and Blaze cousins and half brothers. So that basically makes Ulric Zelda's great uncle

She is quite the spunky girl, and so sweet. She absolutely MUST say hi to every person she meets, or else she gets upset, she even tried to greet a statue till she realized it was not a real person. She thinks our cats are just weird dogs, tried to get one of them to chase her. I believe she does have some prey drive, very interested in the rabbits in our yard, even birds that take flight.
