Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
Great home page. We look forward to the Canadian Club taking off. Keep us posted on the site's development. We are in PG, BC Canada and are actively searching to adopt a couple Tamaskan pups. We will be interested in becoming part of the association. We have dogs right now, just not Tamaskans. We have 4 Alaskan Huskies but have been researching dogs that match our 4 dog team in size and conformation. The Tamaskans are ideal for us from what we have seen. Please keep us in mind for adoptions you know about and we could e-mail you more data about us if you would like.

Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
I'm currently working on a test page, here's the logo I had in mind. I want it to be simple however I'm thinking of replacing the paw with a wolf silhouette...feedback?

I think you should do both and we could vote. I really like the paw but I would like to see your silhouette idea drawn out.

Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
Agreed, I can't favour one over the other without seeing both
Great idea by the way!

I think the paw print looks the best of the two

Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
I think the maple leaf and the paw print have similar shapes so I think the paw works better. The wolf silhouette looks forced... and I think there is better way to use it on your page.
I am voting for the paw in the maple leaf.

Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
I agree, I think the paw print looks better, the wolf just isnt quite right somehow.

Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
Yeah I really don't like the wolf as a logo, but it makes for a nice avatar
, as it was said the paw has a nice shape that compliments the leaf. I also like the CED logo...might be something to work on. My logo for CBK may also be incorporated...not too sure. Obviously not saying Collars By Katlin. It's definitely something I'll have to discuss with Amit and see where things go from there.

For now Rahne has been a massive help and has allowed me to tweak her code from Euro Tam. It's coming along nicely

I put up a VERY ROUGH draft on my design site, anyone have any ideas for changes? Amit and Rahne, if you want anything at all changed please let me know! Thanks again to Rahne for sharing her code
National Tamaskan Club of Canada TEST PAGES
Dogs on the banner are Gaby's Mila (Blustag Yowler) and Rahne's Konah (Konah vom Muensterland).
There is no content on any of the pages yet...still a lot of work to do. I just want to make sure the template is ok and get as much feedback as possible.

Re: National Tamaskan Club of Canada
The site is coming along real nicely, only suggestion/ thought I have is the picture of Mila. The angle of the picture makes her eye very glassy and a little blown out in color... Looks a little strange especially being positioned next to Konah's picture. It's and easy fix to balance the color of Mila so her eye doesn't look glassed over.

Wow, I didn't notice. Nice website! I will go check it out after I finish my biochemistry test today
EDIT: Blustag Norbert (born Feb 12 2011) aka Finch, son of Dingo and Dallas from Blustag, lives in Prince Edward Island. There are actually three Tamaskans in Canada. Finch is owned by Laura Dunford. Feel free to add him into the website if you have time.

That's because Laura only recently arrived in Canada. I've been following Laura on facebook hoping to meet her family and Finch in person.Convel wrote: I wonder why Lynn didn't mention him at all. Nor did Jennie for that matter...huh. Who told you this Lucas?

Also, you can't blame Lynn and Jennie since the duo have been VERY busy re-adjusting to their new environments following the move and had limited access to the internet for a while according to several comments on the thread about that. Lynn's even cursed this limited internet access situation
