Hi, My name is Dorthe and im danish, but im currently living in Shanghai China. Hopefully me and my fiance will move back to europe this year, or early 2013 :D
So right now im looking for breeders that can give a good candidate for my dog to be a therapy dog. I heard that its good if the dog has some utonagan in them, it makes them more calm, but I cant see any of those informations on breeders websites. Do you guys know about some breeders i should keep an eye on?
My dream tamaskan dog would be a male, tall, calm temperament. I dont really care about what color, I think they are all beautifull.
If i get from the states I would consider making him a stud, to help getting new bloodlines into europe. But its not what is high on my list :D

We will not get a tamaskan before we live in europe, so im not in a rush. Its just nice to know ones options, and get opinions from all you smart people ;)

Hi Dorthe. I dont know where you heard this??

I heard that its good if the dog has some utonagan in them.

Tamaskan are a very nice natured reliable family pet. Obviously as with
any breed you will get the exception to the rule but it is extremely rare.

She is looking for a suitable theraphy dog, not just a 'normal' family pet. I told her to look for dogs from English/Utonagan lines mostly and less Finnish/Racing Husky x lines. I think a pup from Tumanra or Nevada would be more suitable for therapy work then a pup from Jodie or JJ don't you think?

Hey Lynn :D

I know that the tamaskan is a lovely family dog, and the puppy i will get will act as a family dog 100%, but i would also like to train the dog for the good porpuse as a therapy dog :D And for that i heard that its good if there is some of the bloodlines that Rahne mentioned. Thats why im looking for ppl who are planning for such a litter in the future :D

There are a lot of dogs out there from Jackal (who himself is an absolute babe) that would make good therapy dogs. Yes Tumanra and Nevada are both chilled dogs along with some of the others. I wouldnt discount the Finnish lines at all though. ;) Hopefully we will have puppies due around 28th January fingers crossed.

Im just very picky i guess, I also have pretty good time to be picky :P Since i cant get one before 2013. Im also willing to import from USA to get the perfect fit for a therapy dog. They dont HAVE to have Finnish or utonagan lines in them, I just want a really calm dog. Hope you understand :D
But if any breeder thinks he or she is having a litter in 2013 that might have a good puppy for me, I would like if they could inform me :D
