Alex the Lovebird

Alex, the last Lovebird that I had, died last night while I was asleep. It was strange to wake up this morning and not hear her chirping as usual, I go to check on her and she was laying there, cold, gone. I don't understand why she had died, she was only 4 years old, only thing I can think of was maybe it got to cold for her. She was very dear to me as I had her since she was in an egg. I feel like I didn't take care of her well enough and I can't stop crying right now.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. She looks like a really sweet bird.
RIP Alex :(

That is so sad, especially when it is so unexpected

Don't beat yourself up over this. These things happen and sometimes there is just no explanation at all.
I have been there and know how you feel... not with a bird but a dog. Time heals. ;)

Lynn is right. I'm sure it was nothing you have done. But very sad also.

Thank you all for your kind comments, I am handling it better today, (not coming to tears right away at the thought of her) also knowing that she is in a better place now.
