My name is Manca and I hope to become a Tamaskan owner in the future, so I joined the forum to learn as much as possible about the breed.
A little about me: I'm 22 years old, currently writing a diploma and working as a secretary. I hope to get a job in the ER once I finish my studies (I'm going to be an engineer of radiology).
I live in the countryside and own two horses. I do a lot of trail riding, exploring all the hills and woods nearby. I hope that my dog will be able to go with us, once he's schooled well enough.

I used to own a german shepherd named Skip. He was my best friend, always by my side. He was put to sleep when he 12 years old. His hips were in a bad shape and the painkillers didn't help him anymore in the end. I miss him a lot.

It's very important to me that my future puppy has a healthy built, with healthy back and hips. I don't understand the way that german shepherds are bred this days.
I fell in love with tamaskans after reading about them on a dog forum and ever since I can't get them of my mind. Everything about them seems perfect - health, character, their built, the look... I wish for a female puppy and had found a litter that just seems to come from my dreams - Sylvaen's Vega and Zente, but it seems that I may be a little bit late...
Anyway, I want to do some search - scent rescue training with my dog, but mostly I want a companion.
Any advice is welcome!
Looking forward to getting to know this community!
