Thank you to everyone that participated... I would like to see more dogs stacked as it really hard to judge dogs when they aren't stacked

Re: Online Show Results - September 2013
Stacked is a position a dog is placed in for judging. Dogs are trained to stand this way. It allows the judge to properly asses the angles of the shoulder and forequarters, as well as the hock and hindquarters. If the angles are off, the dog will not move efficiently and may even not be healthy later in life. So, for example: you would want to drop a plumb line from the dog's shoulders do the ground and the dogs legs should be straight. Their front paws should be directly underneath them. Also, the dogs rear pastern should be perpendicular to the ground in a stacked position.
Generally, puppies are started on training at a very early age. It is hard for pups to hold still, and most judges take that into account for live shows.
But...thank you for bringing the online show back. It's very nice to see updated photos of our dogs and in proper position
Cheers!

bark as if no one can hear you
catch the ball on the fly
lick like there's no end to kissing
sleep on a sofa nearby
jump like the sky is the limit
sit by the fire with friends
stay with the ones who love you
run like the road never ends
