it's still raining here in Gympie, the rivers wont come up for another 2 days if it doesn't stop,
this is a handy little tool I use http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR082.loop.shtml
at the time I posted this there was a rain band stretching about 350 Kilometers north of me and aprox 200 kilometers south over the land the rest was out at sea.

I just had a nostalgia moment.... anyone remember this toy from the 90s?
It was one of my favorites as a child:

Maybe this subconsciously explains how / why I became involved in breeding dogs... looool

I remember this too....... I didnt get one either :(

As I'm catching up on the forum, "the boys" are playing lazer guns in the house. I feel like I'm in an episode of Star Wars.

That sounds a bit old for a babysitter. I was born in 83 and pretty sure I'm too old to count as a babysitter..... Perhaps a child supervisor ;)

Yup! Well, I'm more of an /a/, /cgl/, /ck/ /an/ /v/ and /co/ person myself but I did start out on /b/! I actually contemplated posting about what he's done on /b/ or /an/, as anon is very unforgiving to people that mistreat animals but I figured that was probably better suited to someone who's had more problems with him. Frankly, I don't know why he even bothered to contact me to begin with since he still got $200 out of me!

haha, sorry about that, a quick run down is
/a/ = anime/manga
/an/ = animal
/b/ = random
/ck/ = cooking
/co/ = comics and cartoons
/cgl/ = cosplay and lolita
and /v/ = video games

They're all various spots on 4chan

look at the can of worms this has opened hehehehe... curious minds will flock there now, and be corrupted.

but yeah I mostly hang out in /b/ (though not so much these days - oldfag ftw) sometimes /x/ or /r/
or totallycrap... but I don't have much spare time these days, this book project is keeping me busy. 80+ pages done so far, now onto page 20 of 72, then another 46, then 116, then all done... phew >.<

My current book project is editing / proofreading the English version of a Croatian book on the war, which was published last year and now is being translated into English. It's a historical text, with a distinctly polemic perspective. (lol) It's hardly objective but books on this subject rarely are... though it was quite heavy-going at the beginning (from the 1600s up to the 1980s), it's finally getting to the 90s so definitely much more interesting and intense. Just another 160 or so pages to go......

Once the current book project is done (within the next couple of weeks or so) I have some legal stuff to work on and, next up after that, I have some articles to write for a British magazine (not dog related, unfortunately). Once that's all finished, starting in March or so and then on throughout the spring until early summer, I'll be working on my book project (that's the plan so far anyway), with some other concurrent assignments alongside (Zagreb Tourist Board, Netfilm, etc.) At some point I have to squeeze in a website revamp / update, which is what I'd really like to be doing right NOW - but first I have to focus on the paid work... then the fun stuff afterward. Busy, busy!

Cool I love historical books, I can read english to a moderate degree, just hate speaking it. There is too much slang (if that's the word) and past VS present VS future just kills me! Perhaps I will look at purchasing your book, that is, once I find a decent translator. Google translate lets many errores through.

Went to the puppy training yesterday, Sølve really adores other dogs. Until she knows them she is really submissive :)

but it was really cold and my knee was acting out a lot afterwards :(

I think I have to go to bed it's like 11:30 pm here, I had good dinner. I cooked chicken breast fillets, stuffed with bacon, mushroom, Tomato and silver beat simmered with my secret blend of herbs and Portuguese spice. Then served with Cauliflower & Broccoli topped with a creamy cheese sauce.

now it's time to grab some mutts and crawl into bed oops too late my husky has flaked out on the floor in the dining room.
Dogs are a gift most people don't deserve ^..^

Getting everything ready right now for the road trip tomorrow morning to take my brother to pick up Nanaki. I just need to go check the air in my tires, then take a shower, and then go to bed. Though I may be too excited to sleep tonight :)
