Next issue of Dogs Today?

Post by blufawn » Mon Jul 12, 2010 11:46 am

Has anyone got the new (August) Dogs Today?
I am interested to read what Terry has written after he visited the show. :)
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
.............................................................
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Ok, just checked the post box and this months issue has arrived! However, my printer is buggering around and won't scan so I'll do it at work tomorrow. But just to manage expectations the article was written the night before the show due to the magazines deadlines, so doesn't have any details of the show in it.

That's a shame, now I will be on tender hooks until next months edition. We haven't heard from Terry since the show (but then we have been moving house) so we are wondering if he still likes the Tamaskan as much in real life as he did from the photographs, but only time will tell.

I have got October's issue, but it seems that he has stopped writing about Tamaskans now :(

I can still post the article if you want?

Sure thing, I'd still enjoy reading it... :)
I hope the recent drama / shenanigans aren't to blame... :?

I spoke with him only last week. He is still of course very interested. He has a crisis in his life right now and it has delayed him getting a puppy. He will be back to me once it has all calmed down. He has also been out of the country. The reason he hasnt kept on about getting a Tamaskan is so not to bore everyone he said

hahaha well I know 300+ people here who would love to read about his Tamaskan adventures!
But I guess he has to keep the rest of the readership interested too. ;)

Dogs Today

Post by Misaya » Sun Oct 24, 2010 1:23 pm

Just to say, I was flicking through an issue of Dogs Today whilst at the checkout in Petsmart and found Tamaskan listed in their A-Z of dog breeds. Picture of Jodie and Blustag's contact details etc.

The Tamaskan have been listed for a couple of years now, I think the breed was added following the photo shoot and article in 2008!

Has anyone read anymore on Tamaskan in the recent Dogs Today mags?
