Brett (SpiritEcho)

Post by SpiritEcho » Wed Jan 12, 2011 1:37 pm

I don't usually take pictures of myself cause I'm a ferral lookin thing but for the purpose of letting people see my ugly mug I got a couple of shots from the videos I was doing for the floods
in Gympie Queensland Australia, if ya wanna see those there here > http://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfy-d/ > on my Flickr page I'll be posting some comparison shots in about a month from now cause I'm also stingy and don't want to pay for a Pro account.

anywho I'll post here a few pickies of my family at Xmas and stuff too, we's a roudy bunch and probably eat too much but hey it's only once a year ;)

but first I'll start with those pictures of me drivin around I had actually just got back in the car
because Sasha was smooching.

just had a go at uploading some photos and I'm best putting them up on Flickr
they are pretty big and they'll take too long to load on this forum.
just so you don't have to scroll to the top of the screen
http://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfy-d/
cause not every one uses 4 - 9 screens (my dream)

Great photos!
Also, nice work keeping them all lined up / posing for the picture...
I have an impossible time with just 2 dogs - either one is looking the wrong way or the other stands up at the wrong moment, etc.

hehehe ;) it doesn't seem too difficult the only ones I have trouble with are my old red dog
and my husky, she's always so relaxed!, So relaxed I have often scooped her up off the floor
and carried her into my bedroom and dumped it on the bed. she stays there till she realizes I'm not coming to bed yet and follows me into the kitchen or where ever I am at the time.

Wow it has been some time since I logged into this forum.

since I was on here last I have lost my old Kelpie after nearly 15 years, and also gained a couple of pack members. the Black and white husky Lena who belonged to my friend has passed away from secondary complications of diabetes an unfortunate loss.

there are 2 new additions to my pack Mya a red and white siberian husky and Sputnik the border collie. Mya was given to me with a male husky named Bungee unfortunately I had to return bungee to his original owner.
Sputnik was an intentional addition I was looking for another experimental dog I am now hoping to trial sputnik in the agility trials next year he is showing all the typical psycho border collie potentials to be worth while.
Mya I have started training in obedience and she has managed to graduate to class 3 I'm not so sure how but she is showing awesome potential to be a rally-o superstar she wals at heal beautifully and watches me the whole time. though her recall is the typical husky thing
cones when you want her to stay and disappears when you want her to come LOL
here is a few photos any way I'll post a couple more later

Great photos! Love the new additions, though I am sorry to hear of your losses in the meantime.
Mya is really beautiful... how many dogs do you have in total now? :)

thanks for the sympathies on my loss he was truly an amazing dog several people I have spoken with who know kelpies say there is almost a magic between a dog and owner if your "the right one" for that particular dog.

I have 5 in total 4 of which I am trying different things with, Lilly I'm using a clicker playing with free forming.
all I wanted from her was to pick up a small bucket to start with, I spent 5 minutes and she was lifting the little bucket up, she thinks it's a great game too, "lots of treats".
here is a couple more pictures
the pack photo is orientated From the left Sasha, Lilly, Sputnik, Nikita, Mya
Sasha is now 5, Lilly aprox 8 - 9, Sputnik is going on 9, Nikita is aprox 9, Mya is 4
here is a clip a friend of mine took on agility training night of Sasha I hope the permissions are on public.

I had made a mistake in this run but she did so well and didn't fault because of my error.

Nice! I have 5 dogs in total now too - it sounds like they keep you busy (but in a good way). :)

Well maybe not to the point of not having time for other things
But I do love working with dogs.
If I could do it as a day job I'd be happy.
