I like the action shot of him getting attacked by a water gun. So funny! He's looking great! Such a big boy, and he has a nice long coat.

Longboarding with the kid...a couple of things with this video: I know his harness is too small ( :( ) I ordered a new one today from Canadog. Also he's taking about 15-30 lbs of weight at the very most and only at the very beginning when he first launches off. If you watch his leash you can really tell that he's running just fast enough to keep up...he's not pulling much, he prefers to run beside me unless I really let him RUN (only done that once haha). This stretch is a gentle slope downhill which is why I don't have to push very often. Yes a part of his leash is pink...I know lol

I'll post more pictures later.

Longboarding, about 10X more difficult lol! This is a recent video of longboard with just Wylie, with Sam we go much faster and it's very difficult to stop. It's quite a rush :)

Put a harness on Vega or Vala and you'd be off like a bat out of hell.
They have 2 modes: chilling at home or speed demon... makes for some interesting "walks".

Wish I could do that, but you'll get a $150 ticket because several dogs have been injured and my city thinks it's a good idea to ban it...The only thing I can legally do with Wylie is longboard, skateboard, or scooter. No rollerblading or biking haha. Silly.

Hehe this is about 10 minutes into his "session" he's gotten his zoomies out of his system and settles down into a fast trot. I tend to make him go down a straight stretch at first so he can get the crazy out of the way before we start going near cars lol! I can take a video because, for a lack of being modest, I'm good...I've been boarding for 8 years and boarding with Sam for another year and a half. It's so much fun!

Well we start by walking first, I don't even get onto the board for the first 5 or so minutes because he goes full retard. I longboard with him because he's so hard to walk lol! This was on a very rainy day, my roomate wanted to take them both to the park but I didn't want to get wet and boarding wore him out better. I definitely got wet from all the puddles but poor Wylie chugged the entire bowl of water and collapsed.

They are really crazy at first, but once you calm them down a bit it's a lot more enjoyable :)

Biking is not allowed? omg
For Cody it is the best thing.

During the first Kilometer he's running like a crackpot. But after this he also settles down into a fast trot.

Last time we were biking to a "beer garden". :)
The distance was about 22 Kilometers. That was no problem for him.

Many greetings
Marko

Oh that's just BS, banning the use of biking with dogs. To me that sounds almost like deciding to ban sled-dog racing all because someone tried to train a team of chihuahua for sled pulling - hypothetically speaking of course! I think they should really re-analyze this. Maybe the dogs that were injured weren't suitable for pulling bikes? Or maybe the owners were not experienced in this type of activity. I don't know, but I do believe they should look back on this and hopefully lift the ban in the future or to the very least, allow this activity with northern spitz.

Zephyr is the same way... he has bat out of hell and collapse I am done. I have to stick to the dog sled and quad unless I am feeling daring then the bike. I have gone through two sets of brakes on the bike though and he has gotten past 25 miles and hour on the bike though :/ He would kill someone on a board.

Wow, has it been a month already? Wylie is 11 months now (sniff, tear, my boy is growing up!) so here are some new pictures :) Also I introduced a new camera and lens to my home....please welcome the older Nikon D200. It's a beast (about 5lbs with my big lens and 3 with my little one) but it takes great pictures. Enjoy :)
