Sadly yes :( during the summer is gets really hot here. Mona Lisa and I spend a lot of time at lakes, pools and playing inside during that time. But hopefully in the next year or so we'll be moving to CO :D

She really turned out nice... it's great to see how that whole litter just looks better and better as they mature, with very wolfy features. :)

Thanks :)

More and more people ask me, if she is a CSW or something like that, not only if she is a husky. Probably she really looks more wolfy.

Isn't there a decent amount of CSW in her ped? she is totally gorgeous! :D <3 and the snow always makes tams look so so purdy :D

The Quicksilver pups are approximately 23.4375% CSV (of course, genetic inheritance doesn't follow exact percentages) but it would be fair to say that they are around 1/4 CSV. That being said, they are 4 generations removed from the closest pure CSV (Oskari) and, as such, their recent husky content has a much more dominant influence. The Quicksilver pups are all husky-sized, significantly smaller than CSV, but some of the CSV features are slightly noticeable.

Considering her husky-like character and appearance, I want to have an outcross litter with a CSW. Not with anyone, I want a smaller, medium sized male with an excellent health (DM clear, with great hips and elbows) and character (calmer, stable, confident but submissive), who isn't (too closely) related to Oskari. And yes, I know who might that be.

No, he is faaar away, about 1000 km to the north hehe...Slovenian CSWs are too closely related to Oskari.
