Re: blufawn raven's child (alaska) UPDATE
alaska has gone back to her previous home. the little baby was allergic to cats not dogs and they phoned and asked if they could have her back. i was a little annoyed but seeing as they have kids i didn't have the heart to refuse. she is a fantastic little dog and i hope everything works out for them. we only had her 4 days but we bonded really well and i will shed a tear when she has gone. miss you laska

Shame you were not able to keep her, but at least her family will be happy to have her back.
Re: blufawn raven's child (alaska) UPDATE
That's a real shame for you but its nice that she can go back to her original family. Hope it works out for them this time.

I'm sure you're very sad that she has gone back to her original home. It's really too bad that you couldn't keep her

Re: blufawn ravens child aka alaska with pack
Congrats, she is very closely related to your boy Dylan right?
Re: blufawn ravens child aka alaska with pack
not sure katelyn havent got dylans pedigree yet from liz. i know that she is out of zuul and dingo and that zuul is an alba dog. feel free to let me know any more on this.
yes lucas they are a nice pack all three are very different in size. lexi (blustag nebraska) 28.5 kilo.
dylan (alba criterion) 25.9 kilo. alaska (blufawn ravens child) 21.5 kilo. alaska reminds me more of a coyote/jackal because of her size and head shape.
alls going well playing all over the place and plenty of woos and yapping, need a bigger house me thinks lol.

Ahh, nice to see her fitting in so well. Congratulations! Good looking girl too! Maybe I missed something, but where/how did you get her? Was she rehomed?

Yes it is.Katlin wrote:I was under the impression she had a litter with a Border Collie too...is that true?
Re: blufawn ravens child aka alaska with pack
yes we rehomed her, this is the second time. first time when she was about 5 months then the women wanted her back because of the kids, wish i had said no then. then she posted on the blus forum that she was pregnant to their border collie, i voiced my opinion to her and told her if she couldnt cope i would have her back. 2 weeks ago i saw the ad on gumtree for alaskas puppies for sale £250 and that they would be ready on 22nd march. i then got an email saying that if i didnt take her she would be put into a rescue so i contacted dani (uk tam rescue) to see if she could help if she didnt settle with my pack and she said yes which made my mind up to get her with me and take it from there. so far everyone is getting along just fine had a couple of little grumbles but we only got her on saturday so its still early days. however she was naughty last night and peed on my bed little bugger, had to wash duvet in bath at 10 o clock last night and hang it on the fence outside to drain and now it is covered in snow and has icicles hanging off of it lol. dogs what would we do without them

Re: blufawn ravens child aka alaska with pack
I still can't believe anyone would do that (ok, i can but it's still disturbing)... "if you don't take her i'll dump her in a rescue" (actually my boyfriends 'friend' did that to me with a bunny, i told him i couldn't take it, my cage wasn't big enough and i already had 2 and he said if i didn't, he'd let it go wild
) ...
Possible they wanted her back in the first place for puppies? Seem's odd to re home a dog then ask for it back
(well to me it seem's odd to re home a dog anyway but still...) then end up with puppies in a short space of time...
It's great everyone is getting on, she deserves a good forever home...
