Awesome. I love his light coloring. I think he may need to be paired with a female that has a more slight stop as, judging from pictures, Loki's stop is deeper than most Tamaskans? o.O

Dont know where that 'stop' has come from but is definately deeper than average. Love the light colour much like Dingo and he has
a good coat :D

Maybe the deep stop came from a Husky or NI/Ute from a few (or more) generations back? lol. If so, then talk about skipping generations! Yep, I do love his coat and not just the color - it looks nice and fluffy (full, but not long). ;)

Thank you all for the nice comments :)
hehe now when you say that he has a short stop, havn't really thought about it before, but now we can see it too
Does it actually look like the husky/malamute stop or so and are there more Tamaskan that have this deep stop or is it rather rare?
On another note, what is his coat counting as? His passport states it's red-grey but the pedigree and Register paper say he's wolf-grey. Could use some clarification. ^^

I'd classify him as a wolf-grey, but that's just my opinion. The red-greys should have much more red throughout their coat. If you take a look at Hawthorne's Freyja, I believe even she is listed as a wolf-grey. ;)

It's hard for me to tell how steep his stop is, as some of the pictures he looks to have and average one and others it looks steep... May just be the angle of the photo's. As for his color I think he is red grey... He has way more red than grey and black, then again could be he was grey as a pup so that is what he will always remain on paper. There is a Tam here in the states I would clearly say he is a red grey but on paper he is a wolf grey ( Dylan).

I think I would say wolf grey. But everyone is right because he has all colours in him and we can argue it all day. Then they change colour again in the fall and fool everyone.
Winnie is grey at the moment but she was black in winter ;)

Yes it is sometimes hard to state the colour when doing the registrations as they can change as they grow.

So would you say Loki is wolf-grey or red-grey?

Hehe he really is, and he is such a silly boy. Every morning he comes to our bed and greets us with waggling tail/ass and woo-woo  And when he notices its food time he gets even more happy walking around howling a lot. This last thing is something he has started with recently
