Just wanted to post a couple of new pictures. We took Tika to a "K-9 Karnival" on Saturday and she did very well with all of the other dogs. We were really happy with how she behaved. So here is a picture of Tika and our Lab Apollo resting at the "karnival" and another of them sleeping on our back porch. You can really see how dark her back is getting.

I can't believe how much she and Loki look alike. He's getting a really dark back too. I hope that someday these two siblings can meet again.

We took Tika to the dog park for the first time today. She did great. She got a little aggressive towards a puppy at one point but after a few minutes she got over it (the other puppy relaxed too) and then got along just fine with him. She also met a husky pup there who was also 4 months old. There were all kinds of dogs and puppies there and she got along very well.

It looks like she had a wonderful time. It's great to see her with the other dogs. Loki is not quite ready for that yet, but we're hoping after another couple of puppy classes.

I just wanted to post a couple of fun pictures. She has grown so much in just 2 months, I think she's going to be a tall girl. It looks like she's taller than the Lab in this pictures but she's not quite there yet, she will be soon though.
I thought I'd post a picture with her hackles up lol. There was a dog barking on the other side of the fence. She only does this when on leash, she's fine at the dog park.

That depends on where it's going to be. We're expecting our first kid in the spring so traveling too far with a baby and two dogs will be pretty tough. It would be great for them to get together though.

Thank you. Oh she's pretty good usually lol. She decided to dig under the fence for the first time last week and escape the yard. Luckily we were home and saw her though. We had to reinforce the bottom of the fence. She's good once she gets used to a new situation, it usually only takes her a few minutes. She usually doesn't have a problem with people coming to the door but my parents came to visit last month and she kept barking at my dad for a day or so. It was like she was saying "hey who are you? I don't remember you. Why are you in my house?" Lol. She'd be fine and he'd be petting her and then 20 minutes later she'd bark again like she forgot new people were in the house. It was kind of funny.
She's really liking this cooler weather now too. She'd spend all day in the yard just sniffing the grass and chewing on sticks from the back yard if you let her lol. She's got a lot of personality and she makes me laugh.
