I am sure we can find her a young lad that isn't so prey driven so she has less of a chance of passing that on.

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

She is stunning love the ones of her on the beach slightly damp. Don't forget she is still a baby so don't expect miricles with chasing as she matures she will listen more. You would not expect a young child to be able to control their impulses when tempted so don't expect too much of Mila just yet.

That may very well be the finest looking dog I have ever seen.

I think I shall use her as an example when I need to explain to friends and family what Tamaskans look like :)

Yes, I know I expecting a lot of her, but I have to do that, because I bought her as an example dog for the dog school where I teach. ;) And the hunting is not "a young dog playing around", it is really more serious than that or else I would have it under control already right now. ;) But I'm having an appointment with a dog behaviour specialist who is the owner of the dogschool where I teach and she knows Mila very well, we are going to work on it. Besides the hunting she is lovely, but I think mischief is running in the family, lol, like Canadia wrote.

@ Canadia, Mila says hi to her brother too! :D

 awful  He races round and round and wont come until he is ready. Food usually works  He is a real character
though with tail wagging non-stop along with his whole body with it. He is just like his mum and Dallas his half sister so full of fun, loving everyone and a real tail/body wagger. He is constantly smiling and seems to just love life....such a happy chappy. He
is great with the other dogs too and wants to just give everyone kisses. Not all my males appreciate that though ;)

Haha, so it must be a family trait. Hope it will get better with Ollie! Mila gives kisses all the time too, when she likes somebody she comes now and then just to bring a few kisses. She doesn't even mind where, she licks pants and clothing as well but she loves face licking the best.

Edit: And Dallas is the mother, not half sister I believe. ;)

Yes you are right  I was thinking of Tumanra. She her daughter Dallas and Ollie (grandson) are all the same when it comes
to the tail/body wags and licking/kissing everything in sight  It is really quite funny to watch but they are just soooo happy.

Definitely a family trait! Finch's whole body wiggles and I can't get through a day without submitting to a couple of licking sessions

Mila is 15 months old now so it is time to give an update! She is turning out in a beautiful young lady. She has a lot of character. She is very sweet against us and people she knows. She is a bit aloof of strangers, but that could be because our other dog doesn't like strangers that much. I think that because if he is around she doesn't like strangers and when I'm walking with her alone she is fine with them most of the times.
She doesn't pull, walks good off leash and stays nearby untill she sees or smells a cat, a deer or sheep. But it is getting better. We have had a visit from a behaviour specialist, she says that Mila is trainable regarding to the hunting, because she could see she progressed when we walked in the neighborhood and trained with cats we saw. But we have to keep her on the leash when we think she might take off, the training with the cats was on leash too of course. If she doesn't progress the next six months, we have to start trying other things, and we probably have to use an E-collar. :( I do not like that, because she listens well normally, except for once or twice a week when she would like to take off after a cat. That is still to much, in the area we live there are a lot of roads, so I'm scared that there could happen an accident if we don't have control over her and she runs off. She only walks off leash in safe places where I know where all the animals are. Than she listens well and keeps an eye on us. The trainer said she is a very well trained dog though and that we have a good bond together. At the dogschool she does very well and likes to learn new tricks. We can take her everywhere and she already start retrieving twigs out of the water. :D

Enough about her, here are the pictures!

Thanks! Ehm, I don't know, she had quite a long day and is sleeping now, don't want to wake her to measure her. ;) I will do it as soon as possible. But I think she is about 60 cm high. Not a very tall or big girl. But she isn't super small, she is about as big as a female Belgium or Dutch Shepherd.

And some more pictures of today, we took her for a swim, very nice with this hot wheater!
