If you reach puberty....

Post by Gaby » Mon Aug 08, 2011 10:28 pm

...you have to start doing things people won't expect from you!

Just kidding, I do not own this collar, haha. ;)

This is the real owner, Sam, a Dutch Shepherd. She is from a friend of mine and I borrowed it for the picture  :

AWESOME collar...but I always wondered do they hurt? Say your dog is scratching his feet on the collar (when they attempt to take it off with their feet)...can the spikes hurt them or are they dull? I'd love something like that when Logan is a bit older.

To be honest, I find this kind of collars very ugly. I don't think she minds the collar and the spikes aren't that sharp, but if she wants to play with other dogs I take it off. I'm scared she will hurt my dogs with that.

We do have a tough collar for Rhodin though. Made from the tyre of a mountain bike. But we never use it, he doesn't like it, he scratches his neck with the collar.

I have a "spiked" collar (but only one row) it doesn't hurt Sølve at all the "spikes" are dull..

The collar looks more right on the DS than Mila haha

Hi Gaby,
I have seen you on the Euro-meeting with Mila :D . It is astonishing for me over and over again, how much the Tamis of so petite puppies develop in such splendid phenomena. But with the parents of Mila it is also no miracle :D .
Next year with the Euro-meeting you will be able to see then with Mika ;)

Hi everybody, sorry for my late reply, I had to finish my research for my study and I had to work so hard to finish it before the deadline. ;) But I succeed, I only have to finish one thing and I am done, finally. :D
So thanks for all the nice reactions! @ Boreal, haha, no, I didn't post the mud bath pic, although it was very funny. This are only the beautiful posing pics where you can see her changing colour etc. Maybe some other time I can post it again.

Mila is now 7 months old! She is becomimg a lady, but she still likes to get dirty and play rough with her friends. And that is not so ladylike. These pictures where made at the third Catahoula day in the Netherlands. The same place where we will have the Tamaskan meeting in the Netherlands. ;)
