New pictures of the girls! They're getting so BIG.
The gallery I use apparently keeps the images in too hi-res a format to be posted here, so here's a link to the album.

Yes, they have grown a lot! They are becoming beautiful. Which one is Rhea and which one Sophie? I can see one is more red then the other, but they look quite similar. They look great together, must be fun to see them playing and running around.

Sophie is the one with more red. She's also slightly larger, fluffier, and has less black in her face. Really, the easiest way to tell is that Sophie will always have a blueish collar. We recently switched Rhea into a purple one when she grew out of her red puppy collar. Also, I (Ben) usually walk Rhea and Kira walks Sophie. Unofficial his and her's... it seems like Sophie prefers Kira and Rhea prefers me.

Lol Sam and Odin got the light colouring whereas I think every single girl got the darker colour. Maybe its a male/female thing?

male/female thing looks that way doesn't it  . if odin had been dark too, i'd have suspected someone of puppy swapping :o   (jking btw :D ). it is interesting the range of colouring within a litter.

Yeah, they're more or less red grey.

Rhea has a more white/tan undercoat, but Sophie is definitely red-grey.

I haven't measured them lately, but they're definitely over 40 lbs, and I'm only an inch or two away from touching their shoulders when I stand and let me hand hang.

I'll swing by the vet's office tomorrow and weigh them. It's high time I did it.

And just because I had a great time doing it, here's the pictures of getting Sophie into the water. She wasn't very excited about it at first, but when she realized that the water was MUCH more comfortable & cool than outside, she was quite content to chill out in my lap. So long as she didn't feel like she wasn't supported she was very happy. I think she just didn't like the sensation of not holding/touching anything.

Oh hello big human in the water!

Neither of them seem to mind when we play with their feet. We started getting them used to us touching their feet right when we got them. We still bring out the nail clippers and touch their toes even if we weren't clipping the nails and hold their feet when we sit and snuggle. It seems to have worked well.
