can tamaskan dogs do pet therapy?

If you mean can they visit hospitals and care homes etc then yes so long as they are registered with your local authority. Also the particular dog would need to be of a very quiet disposition. I have some that would make good therapy dogs and others that would be a nightmare :lol:

Have a look in the Training Section - there are lots of Tamaskans there who have been trained as Therapy Dogs, etc. :)

Dash is going for her assessment as a registered pet therapy dog next Thurs. We are going to the local OAP church group and she has to wander around calmly allowing them to pet her without getting too excited, whilst they try and distract her by dropping their walking sticks, etc - sounds like a hoot.
She will then be a registered PAT dog and can go into hospitals and care homes.
Can't see her having any issues as she's quite at home going into schools and being mobbed by kids.

My son has thought about it for my dad who uses a wheelchair, it's a good job Saga is not 1 yet :lol: next year could be fun :lol:

I wish someone had taken a photo of my son pushing my dad while ridding his unicycle along a canal bank :lol:
