Requirements for lookalikes in Online Shows?

Post by Tiantai » Wed Nov 13, 2013 4:07 am

I have a question about the rules for lookalikes dogs for online shows.

Other than looking very similar to the Tamaskan dogs, what other criteria are needed to allow them to participate?

Also, are semi-exotic low-content wolfdog crosses looking similar to Tamaskans allowed to take part?

I have no problems for low-contents or wolfdogs, whomever wishes to enter will be allowed to join.

Is it a wolf lookalike or tamaskan lookalike competition? I was thinking wolf as that is the goal of all these breeds.

I personally prefer to be careful with the word "wolf-lookalike". But I see what you mean

I always understood the "Lookalike" section to be for lookalikes, of Tamaskan's. As they are the main point of the show. Not to look like wolves. It may be the ultimate goal of the Tamaskan that our dogs resemble wolves, but we have a breed standard as loose as it is. And a number of exceptional looking dogs.

Beating a dead horse, or phrasing a different way. Would be look-a-like for those entered in the main classes.
