Tamaskans in Massachusetts

Post by lasgal » Mon Jan 14, 2013 10:22 pm

Being Tallulah is an only dog, and we do not have any dog parks around I was looking into doggie daycare's to socialize her. My Vet referred me to Petopia in Leominister, MA. I told the gentleman she is a Tamaskan, and he said he has a 16 month old that attends doggie daycare :o. I'm curious if anyone on the forum knew of Tamaskans living up this way, or if possibly the owners were on the forum. We are going for a visit tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to see her and find out her name :).

16 month old? If I did my math right and looking at the litter listing on the database, they may not have a real Tamaskan but a mix from RPK :?

I know of one owner in western MA who is on the forum. I don't know how old the Tamaskan is and don't think it would be my place to say who though.

Wouldn't that pup be 17 months old though from Takari?

Buy no means would I expect someone to give out another's information! I was just excited to hear there was another Tamaskan near by and hope to meet them. Didn't know if they were on here.

I saw the pup today. She looks more like 12 weeks, still has soft fluffy puppy fur. Obviously the guy got the age wrong! Def looks like a Tamaskan. Her coat is like a fox red and she has perfect diamond shaped markings around her eyes. I asked if he knew where the owner got the puppy and he said Ridgedall Breeder.

:? Must be someone who got their dogs from Ratliff or RPK and bred and sold their pups to them, there are no Ridgedall breeders.

Maybe it was Ratliff. I would have remembered the other.

Maybe someones breeding Ratliff/RPK Dogs in Ridgedale, Missouri, United States (closest google could find to Ridgedall). Could have meant breeder location not kennel name (my theory  )...

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!
