Tamaskan Pedigree Database - Collecting Records

Post by Rahne » Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:27 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on getting the new TDR website up and together with that we will have a public pedigree database! :D
I will be adding all breeding dogs for a start and also welcome all pet dogs. Every new litter that is born from now on will be entered in the database.

I need everyones help with this as Lynn & Jennie keep all the records and it doesn't look like we will be able to get back any of those :(
In order for me to add dogs I need to receive several copies of papers that have been given out by the TDR and at least one photo.

Minimum requirements for both pet & breeding dogs
* Copy of TDR pedigree
* Copy of TDR registration certificate
* At least one photo of the dog

Requirements for breeding dogs, optional for pet dogs
* Copy of DNA
* Copy of DM results
* Copy of Hip results
* Any other health results (eyes, elbows etc) if they have been done

If certain health tests have not been done yet then those need to be send to me at a later date, when they have been done. If people have already send me copies of certain papers then you don't have to send them again as I will still have them.

Together with those papers I would also like to have the following info for the Database although this is not required:
* Call name
* Country (where does the dog currently live)
* Height
* Weight

You can send the copies, photo and info to my mail: rahnemeeder@wolfsbane.nl
Thanks!

Rahne I just want to say you are AWESOME!
In my honest opinion, I think YOU deserve to be the next Secretary of the TDR ;)
Looking forward to the new website as well :)
Good luck with getting all those informations. I hope the owners of their dogs have copies for you to put up.

Excuse the quality, made a picture with my phone.
Here's the TDR registration certificate (I blanked out my address in the top left corner):

We are working on getting new type of papers for the pedigrees and registration documents. As soon as we have arranged that we will give people the option of requesting new documents (for a small fee).

Awesome! and no... I didn't get one of those...

Edit: Maybe because i picked Sam up before Jennie came to micro chip later that same day :?

If there are mistakes, ask for for the corrections to be made. I would discribe the error in an email with the attached documents.

Rahne,
Are you keeping copies of the health testing too? If so, I will forward our three dog's info to you.
Thanks so much for all of your hard work. If you need help designing new documents I'm a whiz on Photoshop :)

And for the Yellowstone litter--you're already in the database ;) But when you get health testing please forward it to Rahne.

Just thinking not everyone has access to a copier... I will copy Zephyr's stuff at work if I can find out how to make the copier to do it in color and then send it.

If you like I can give you what details of balto that I have, or you can wait til I have him since I don't know his registration number etc yet. His DNA results are on their way back to Lynn from America. Can forward that too when I get everything.

I will forward Max's (Hawthorne Hellroaring Canyon) DM results once I receive them. It's only been a little over a week (June 28) since OFA said they received them.

Height and weight are blank for us. Do you want us to supply info on the adults, at least? Or at a certain age? (Darwin seems to be filling out still at 21 months)

Can those of us who have pups with incorrect information on the pedigree/registration expect those corrects to be made and new registrations sent out? As I look at the information provided, I do not see those changes showing up in the pedigree section (i.e., Nevada).

Yes, we are to receive new paper pedigrees. The TDR is creating new registration documents, etc. so it might take a little while.

But yes, reminding that the database is incorrect on our litter is a good point.

Height and Weight can be given when the dog has fully matured (3+ years), then it's the most accurate and I don't have to keep changing it.
