Re: two Tamaskans of the same sex together

Lynn will enforce the fact on how difficult it is for two female Malamutes to get on with each other and I feel with "thanks" to lynn's breeding (temperament wise) malamutes are becoming much easier to handle, I have stuck in photo's here of our 3 young malamutes and this is how they lie with each o...

I don''t think it matters how long you leave between loosing a dog and getting another, you never ever forget them. No two dogs are ever the same, even if the same breed, but each one is special in their own way. We always used to say no dog could be as good as my parents Rough Collie that we had w...

Here are our two Mal girls together just now, its still early days but if they continue like this things will be fine

They do say Mother & daughter will tollerate with mals, I expect the same with Tamaskans, although our two are not related.

I've seen this behaviour with dogs who where bored. They start chasing their own tales because they haven't got anything else to do. Off course I hope that isn't the case. ;) Its definitely not boredom; I have to split them up 2 or 3 times a day to allow them to rest as the garden is a constant box...

we then heard that puppies do wonders for gardens and really help bring on the grass as well as look after the plants, so just to keep out garden tidy and neat we got 3 puppies

every garden needs a puppy to keep it nice :(

Every Garden needs a puppy or three

Looking back at pictures over the years of our late Mals, Bodie and Nakita
we noticed how they loved to lay on the grass in the garden in their latter years and just kick back

Re: When can I run my pup?

When I say one meal a day I mean from 12 months old when she is 'really' working. If you feed her in the morning then she is digesting this food during the day, which means if you go for a morning or lunch run then she is still digesting/having food in her belly while running. A high protein snack ...

Ideal weight is different for each dog like in humans. Ideally the dog should not show too much ribs. A nice covering but not looking thin. Viewed from above should just have a slight waist. I never weigh food and just adjust to how the dog is looking at the time. Lynn Dakota now weighs in at 50kg ...
