Our mom used to be scared of big dogs. So we bought a CSW puppy... :twisted: But people who have developed serious phobia have it difficult, because dogs can smell this immediately and concentrate their attention on such person. The only remedy is to get such person slowly used to one particular dog.

Personally, I prefer the appearance and the temperament of the Tamaskan to all other dog breeds. They aren't necessarily 'easy' dogs, but compared to Czech / Saarloos / other true Wolfdogs, I think Tamaskan Dogs are much less difficult to handle (and raise!) and they make very good family pets. :D ...

If I had to have both breeds, I think I would start with the tamaskan. Because CWD would really benificiate from the proximity of a trustfull and "calm" dog , and of course of a pet friend.
