He is a big guy... how was his ligament injury for the show? Jaeger is all better. Meds fixed him up just in time to run with all of his Tamaskan buddies, and he had no problem keeping up with any of them. All of the best pictures were supplied and taken by Tracy at Hawthorne. Tracy did a wonderful job capturing many photos of the show. She has some real talent with a camera. More pics will be supplied in the days to come, but its late for us and we all had a long day.

Tina took Jaeger to the Vet on Friday. Turns out Jaeger injured a ligiment in his knee. X-rays revealed no permanent damage, He is on medicine for the next 10 days and he should have no problems after that.

Tina's sister stayed at the Quality Inn one time when she visited. She had nothing bad to say about the hotel. I know nothing about the Econo Lodge.

I think with most puppies, they cry a lot at first when put in the crate. I used treats to get them to go in with a lot of praise. To stop the whining and crying, you just have to ignore them. Jeager Just recently injured his toe and has not been putting weight on his foot. He probably just has some bruising and it is sore but we are taking him in to get it looked at.

The main ingredient in the Prurina Alpo Prime Cuts Savory Beef Flavor is (Ground Yelow Corn) I have learned that dogs of this type do much better on a grain free diet. If you spend the few extra dollars and get a quality food, you will save on vet bills. Just my 2 cents worth.

Lisa,
I remember a post that you said that Wave did well on some exam and was relaxed , but you failed. You may be putting off this same tension when walking Wave around ther dogs, and these other dogs are reacting to you and not Wave.
Just a thought.

This is so tragic. My heart goes out to Dr. Paul Baughman and his family. To have his pup life cut down so quickly after only having the pup 5 months is devestating.

Not a disqualitying factor, but a fault. BTW when we bred Blaze with Tundra, not one puppy has a tail that curled over the back. The Tarheel litter of Tundra and Blaze is now just over two years old and none of them display a curled tail.

Personally, I would like to see all pups micro-chipped before they leave the breeder. My reasoning is that this will show we care about our puppies, we can prove who bred them and, when a unknown dog show up in a shelter or rescue a simple scan can determine if the dogs is a Tamaskan and who owns it...

Correct, Inna is a littermate to my Blaze. He has the same tail. His tail will go right over his back when he gets excited.
