Bear update :D

My dad repaired a narrowboat and we all went out on it together when we got it running. Bear was very good on the boat. (best part for him was watching the ducks  )

Re: Blustag Golden Fleece (Bodie X Heidi) BEAR

We are very fond of his red highlights :D He was great around the horses. My mum walked with him and I rode the horse. He really loved it and seemed to know she was "part of the pack" but he was very calm and stayed at a sensible distance. I must get some pictures of them together!

Very cute boy... ! I have a question about the harness, is it an "easy walk" one? Does it work to stop them to pull on the leash? Thanks ;) Its a "Mac Leather" harness, we just got it because it looked very comfortable and should last him a while as he grows. Its not a specific anti pulling harness...

I do not have a Tam (yet :D ) but I read an article in Dogs today that sounded like a good trick... though it is a very "back-to-basics" sort of method. Re: what age to send pups home

I am not a breeder, but I guess when I take a pup would depend (for me) on how much socialisation the puppies get with the breeder. Of course, interaction with mum and sibblings is vital. So I would not feel happy taking a pup home sooner than 8 weeks. I don't think there would be much of a problem ...

I've heard when training not to pull on the lead, to stop walking everytime they pull ahead and make them come back to you before walking again, and repeat every time this happens. It will make your walks take ages, but it may work if you stick to it. This worked very well with my dog. Just a lead,...
