You're right, I have booked to see a trainer this week and I will insist that Matt starts spending some time training Zuuk as well to build their relationship. I have done all the training with Zuuk since we had him, including taking him to different classes and to agility as well as spending hours ...

I've been having similar problems with Zuuk. He has bitten a man at my work who came to deliver a package - Zuuk didn't growl or give any warning, just leapt up and bit the man's outstretched arm and then lay back down again. He has since bitten someone who came to the door to speak to my dad - draw...

There are amazing coastal walks all around where I live with massive cliff drops and I've walked my previous dogs off the lead on them without even thinking about it but I have never and would never trust Zuuk off the lead near a big drop, my heart would be in my mouth the whole time as I can just i...

I had the same problem with Zuuk and my hands and arms were constantly bleeding from one bite or another - have to say I was very relieved when his sharp little teeth finally fell out! Even until very recently Zuuk would still mouth and chew on our hands - though much easier to handle with his bigge...

But do you not find that with treats, they are all good and well until your dog starts to weigh up the treat versus whatever fun they are having? This has been my my dilemma and problem. My Top Tip would be to decide on a training method right from the beginning and then stick to it religiously. Thanks so much for the videos, I've just started clicker training with Zuuk and finding it quite hard to be consistent, so it's good to see how quickly you can use it to build behaviours.
