Re: BLUSTAG TAMASKANS

He looks very much like our Tsonata! Tsonata's eyes were a brown color but lately, as he is maturing, his eyes are starting to lighten and become more the color of Bodies. I am drooling over Dallas, I do so love that coat color! :)

How does your Tamaskan say "I love you"

I thought it would be interesting to hear how other Tamaskans show their affection to their owners. All dogs have their own personality, just as we do. Tsonata likes to come up to me and put my bare foot in his mouth he never bites down just holds my foot and looks at me with the sweetest expression...

Re: Tsonata

LOL! He nibbles at us all the time! It is just his way. He has to show us affection, just has to, that is how he loves us back. He forgets his own strength sometimes and I end up with small bruises where he pinches my arm. I am still trying to teach him not to do that, but so far with no luck. He is...

Re: How did YOU discover the Tamaskan breed?

I was researching wolf dog behaviors, feeding, care, etc...because I had one at my rescue and he was getting very hard to manage. I since found him a great home with folks who will know how to care for him. Along the way I discovered the Tamaskan. As fate would have it my first contact with anyone w...

Mine are NEVER naughty    LOL! I bet they aren't! :P I have found that once you have developed a good "alpha voice" and they learn that the word "no" in that voice means, oh boy... I did some thing bad, they begin to learn very quickly not to do that, whatever it was, again. Most dog...

Re: Change of Pecking Order???

Lisa, I agree that he has or is coming into his own, at the age of 2, but I also believe a trama or sudden change to his norm is attributing to his behavior. I had a simular experience with a female Lab mix that I rescued many years ago. She was a young pup when I got her and I was in a long term re...

She is lovely! She even seems to be polite in a doggy way...I wish my Tsonata would stand still for some good pictures. He is so goofy and wont be still...I get a lot, I mean a lot, of pictures with this grey blurr running by the camera. :D She is so beautiful. Glad she is with you now.

They do all get along very well. I can't get Mimi (cockatoo) to play with the snakes though, LOL! Probably for the best, they aren't too fond of her either. All and all, everyone plays well together. Mimi is convinced that she is a dog and prefers to be with them, she barks and howls when they do. S...

He is out of Jodie & Jackal's litter. He has cute way of wrinkling his eyebrows.
He is a talkative little booger too. He likes to have conversations, even though we have no idea what he is saying, he doesn't bark, just makes silly noises.
