Thank you Rahne, This will be Kana's last litter. As the previous mating with Jeager was a success, I opted to use him again to guarantee success on her last litter before she is retired. Re: Future Tarheel Litter (Kana x Jaeger)

The mating of Jaeger to Kana produced some good looking puppies. Their were only 4 produced in the first mating, which is about half the size of a normal litter. Doing a repeat of a small litter is not hurting the gene pool.
Not exactly the response I was hoping for from the forum.

We can only guess by the x-ray results showing 5 puppies. USA Veterinarians do not x-ray pregnant females until day 45 out of 63. any earlier the skeletal structure is not developed enough for x-rays. x-rays were done on 1 march, so no later than 18 March by guessing. I am thinking more like march 1...

Right. But unfortunately in some countries, such as my own native Norway, any dog that contains a drop of wolf, with the odd exception of the Saarloos breed, is illegal. This is how the puppy mills scam you. They prey on your feelings and bank on you getting attached to the dog and won't want to return it. You don't even have the dog, and you are attached. Sometimes it is easier just to give up and loose your deposit as it will cost you much more money in the long r...
