Height?

I know there's quite a bit of variation in the height of Tams today, from Nanuq to Vixen and probably more dramatic differences that I don't know about. It got me wondering - after breeding out curly tails, getting smaller, rounder, better furred ears, and correcting all the other issues we're worki...

Waiting list question.

Around summertime 2013 or between then and 2014, I may well be looking for a Tamaskan puppy. Thing is, it depends on a lot of things. A-level results, university places, if I can find a suitable place to live, if I can have someone home most of/all the time for the pup etc. I'll hopefully be moving ...

That's horrific, Lynn. Sounds like you've had really bad luck, or maybe where I work is in the minority. Re: Genetic test to distinguish wolves from wolfdogs and dog

I am highly skeptical as to the accuracy of these DNA tests. Since ALL dog breeds are descended from wolves, it leaves a LOT of room for error, false positives, etc. I will continue to research though, and remain open-minded. ;) Yeah, this is my major concern too, but you'd think it would have to b...

I can imagine there are a lot of places that just haphazardly look after dogs for you by bunging them in a cell, giving them food and water, and wandering off. I can imagine you needing to be careful, yes, but not stressed over how well cared-for your dogs will be. If you research and check places o...

I know what you mean, Nino. Still, these dogs are extremely well documented, and were reported hundreds of times. I think it can't just be a question of training, and it's not a fluke. This guy had different generations all acting the same way.

Have to see the books, then I'll decide. ^-^
