for the beds, im not too sure about the one that just circulates water or whatever, but the one where you can dunk it in cool water or the other one that you freeze the inserts, id be willing to bet those work. as long you can keep them cool, like keep freezing inserts or keep throwin cool water on ...

i dont have a tam but my family goes camping a bit and ive seen some people with great ways to keep their dogs cool: as for watering down the ground, if its really hot that can evaporate really fast and be not very effective, so id pick up a bed like this that will keep the dog off the ground outsid...

One thing you all seem to be forgetting are the health issues! German Shepherds and Utonagan are suffering from Hip Dysplasia amongst many other things and I for one dont want to introduce any problems into our breed. i think they used some real animals, probably a mix of wolfdogs/czech, and then did some CG work and also manipulated them (notice they track back and forth to rock their heads) so just a broad mix of tricks to get the look they wanted.

i definitely think promoting our own sites are a good idea- maybe everyone should make sure they have a good network of links set up on their sites so if a interested person finds YOUR site, but maybe lives in a different area, they can EASILY find other breeders. yeah, those costumes are crazy! i cant image the intense amount of work that goes into something like that, doing every single part- like in your video, painting the eyes. just every little aspect. and with the commissions i bet people have some crazy challenging requests too. must be so interesting.

in the area of California im in we have a range of about 105-40 F. it usually doesnt hit those numbers too often though. our dogs havent ever really seemed to have a problem with weather, but we do try to keep them out of the extremes.

i *think* the problem with adding GSD into the breed would be that it could make the ears very large when i believe they are trying to breed for smaller (or at least not large) ears right now. correct me if im wrong! ;)
