Ok, thought I should also share some pictures of me!
The quality isn't to great, I had to scan them.

Yes, did you enter?
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
.............................................................
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

he's a she! ;)

Yes, it was our first dog show. Konah did very well although she didn't win anything. The judge told me that right now her body is out of proportions (very looonggg legs) because she is in her growing stage.
The judge called her a lanky teenager

She was the youngest dog in her class, the others were all over a year old. She did got excellent points for her behaviour :D
The judge and also the other people really liked her!

Well done and nice to see a pic of you here. ITs a great way to promote the breed around the shows and makes for a very enjoyable day out :D

While growing / teenage Tamaskans are certainly very "lanky" - it's one thing to keep in mind that even adult Tamaskans still retain the "wolfy" feature of very long legs (just look at Konah's mother: Summer). To some people it may seem "out of proportion" but I suppose that to someone who has never seen a Dachshund before, their legs would seem very short and "out of proportion" to the rest of their body too. It's highly probable that the judge has never seen a Tamaskan before so wouldn't know anything about the Breed Standard and the aim for "wolfy looking" dogs... they are not Labradors! ;)

Anyway, I'm glad the show went well and hope you will continue to enter more shows in the future! :)

That's true!. It was a show for mutts, mixes and breeds without a pedigree. The judge told that is was hard for her to judge because most of the dogs that entered the show didn't confirm to a set standard as they were not pure breeds. Maybe we have better luck next time ;)
Anyway, I'm glad the show went well and hope you will continue to enter more shows in the future!
I would like to! :D

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!
